Description:
Handling and learning material that can ease the perception, construction and memorization of numbers.
The new coloured rules developed by Gai Savoir in 2011 are the result of 60 years practice of Georges Cuisenaire's method in schools.
The innovation of this method lies in the fact that each of the 10 rules is composed of cells of which the quantity is corresponding to the number represented by the rule.
The'latte' of numbers is a technological evolution of the Deliege small plank .
Nowadays it makes it possible to work on larger numbers or even on negative ones because it includes slots which can clip to each other in height as well as in width,
on the left as well on the right.
The attached handlings of the rules and the'latte' of numbers will allow children to visualize the operations to be realized, to practise numerous strategies
and to carry out fundamental mathematical reports.
