Prize of Brussels Innova
Details

Section: Radio - Television - Communications

Description: It is impossible to terminate u-wave interference signal with practical band reject resonator due to inherent resistive loss. Our product is able to exhibit perfect interference attenuation and can be easily integrated with any wireless system with minimum cost occurred.

3D holographic video system
Silver medal
Inventor: Wauthier d'Ursel
Belgium

Prize of Joelle Milquet, Minister for Employment and Equal Opportunities
Details

Section: Radio - Television - Communications

Description: Device for presenting 3D animated images, obtained by taking pictures trough a diffraction grating, from all size objects, and a projection onto a holographic screen. The diffraction gets by each ray of light a way done which depends on its wavelength. The screen works as a complex lens and reconstitutes an integral 3D effect. The recording support is sensitized by each wavelength, realising a spectrum analysis and, at the time of the projection, returns the information. With three supports, RGB natural colours are obtained. The data are converted into digital form. The data processing allows to create synthetic three-dimentional images.
